Abstract:

Encyclopedia of new religious movements edited by Peter B. Clarke provides a truly engaging and authentic view of the emerging religious movements on a background of the universe. This encyclopedia, containing 428 articles from leading academics, studies the remarkable examples of religious movements emerging in each continent. Clarke as an editor has written a higher income as "New Religions as a global phenomenon", a "Resource guide of NRM" and a useful article entitled "Typology of new religions" in this encyclopedia. This encyclopedia is a leading, research, updating, important, and valuable reference for academic libraries. However, the encyclopedia suffers from some disadvantages, among which we can refer to apparent contradictions in Index, the incidence of historical errors, print, etc., in its context and putting NRM identified with the Cults, sects, and counter-culture groups

Abstract:

One of the issues regarding the nature of religious science is illustration of its effective factors, elements and components. In terms of nature, religious science means a desirable religious science (in terms of definition and production) not the presented sciences (in terms of realization). A desirable religious science includes essential and non-essential variables each of which provides identification for science. These elements and factors include: subject, predicate, scholar, knowledge, method, instruments, resources, benefits and application, purpose, principles, assumptions, presuppositions, time, place, geography, culture, civilization, etc. based on which various opinions have been organized about the nature and whatness of religious science. Some viewpoints have mentioned only one factor as the identification provider element of religious science while some others have introduced the combination of several fundamental elements as the criterion to prove that a science is religious. Accordingly, differences of opinions in this regard are so that one direction is ended to denying the religious science on the one hand, and on the other hand, in addition to acceptance of the principle of religious science possibility, it proves its external realization during the Islamic civilization history. In our view, religious science is not merely dependent upon certain elements and factors but different factors including essential and non-essential elements are involved in religious nature and identification of science and according to the degree of the roles of these factors in religiosity of the science, the religious science will also be a gradual matter.

Abstract:

Knowing the components of economic education provides the dynamic background of education in this field. The aim of the current research is to investigate the indicators and components of the economic education curriculum. The approach of the current research is qualitative and its method is research synthesis. The research community is all the articles (211 articles) that have been presented from 1390 to 1401 AD and from 2010 to 2022 AD regarding economic education in curricula. The sample of the research is 32 articles, which were selected based on thematic monitoring, theoretical data saturation, and purposefully. The research data were collected from the qualitative analysis of the studied articles. By analyzing the data, the dimensions of vitality in the curriculum of the elementary school in 4 factors and 55 categories including the dimension of individual factors (including indicators and components related to personality characteristics); The dimension of culture and economic ethics (economic fields in the society); The dimension of economic concepts and knowledge (indices in economic education) and the dimension of collective and communication concepts (communication and interaction indicators in education) were classified. Economic education is dependent on internal and external components in educational systems, which requires macro-planning in this field.

Abstract:

Purpose: To Identify components and provide suggestions for the issue of religious librarianship in the country.Method: The research was applied with a qualitative approach. Data collection has been done through open and semi-structured interviews with 12 librarians who were purposefully selected due to their experience and knowledge in the field. The interviews was content analyzed by thematic analysis method. In this process, coding was carried out using the approach of creating a theme network in three stages: extracting basic themes, categorizing basic themes, creating organizing themes, and finally creating an overarching theme. Validity and reliability of the data were confirmed in three stages validation by analyzing the results of the interviews and verifiability by recording and documenting the stages of collecting and analyzing the interviews to refer back if needed. The interviews continued until the saturation of information and repetition of the discussed topics.Findings: Themes are categorized into four groups, specialized activities in libraries for the development and research of religious sciences and promoting religion in society, the conditions affecting the creation of religious specialization in librarianship, the role of libraries and religious institutions in the development and promotion of religious specialization in librarianship, and the results and benefits of specialized religious librarianship activities. They were categorized as strengthening religious studies and promoting religiosity in society. The specialized measures focus on ten basic themes, which include identifying resources, organizing, recognizing the needs of the audience and providing information, producing specialized tools, training librarians, and it is necessary to explain the goals and duties of religious librarianship. The eleven basic themes of influential conditions emphasize issues such as the influence of religion in the cultural and political context and obstacles such as the lack of religious knowledge of librarians and the religious challenges of young people. The fifteen basic themes are the role of libraries and religious institutions in the category of governmental institutions, large libraries, religious institutions, national and international library organizations, and scientific and research institutions. The three basic themes of attracting library audiences, promoting Islamic professional ethics of librarianship, and helping to develop religious studies are among the results of dealing with religious librarianship in the country. Conclusion: The religious context and culture, regardless of the type of religion or denomination, in societies have made it necessary to create and strengthen a religious approach as a branch of professional librarianship activities, and this issue has long been a concern in the librarianship profession and needs to be strengthened. The role of institutions and organizations in changing, evolving, and strengthening new approaches in the librarianship profession through the development of scientific and intellectual foundations, strengthening knowledge in this field, and increasing scientific interactions and communications has been very prominent and influential and they have also shown a distinct and prominent impact in the field of religion; therefore, paying attention to the establishment of professional religious librarianship organizations and linking these organizations with other civil institutions and religious librarianship organizations at the international level will help strengthen these communities. Establishing a religious librarianship organization in Iran with representatives from libraries and religious institutions from all official religious orientations and denominations in the country for policy-making, coordination, and planning of professional religious librarianship activities in the country can be beneficial and effective for the information science and epistemology profession in the country. Perhaps through this, new and broad horizons will be opened for librarians and other stakeholders. Such an association should be placed under the umbrella of professional, spiritual, and material support of a larger institution. This institution could be the National Archives and Library Organization of Iran. The recommendations of this study include creating a religious librarianship orientation and developing appropriate courses and syllabi for training librarians in this field in universities, developing research priorities, and conducting theoretical and applied research on religious librarianship in scientific institutions and specialized research centers related to information science and epistemology.

Abstract:

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: The research under the name: "Religious intellectual components influenced by Sufi literature" aims to compare the words of the people of knowledge and tariqat (in poetry) with religious intellectual components in contemporary Iran, such as: rationality, tolerance and Tolerance, pluralism, religious democracy, gender freedom and equality before the law and things like this-which are mainly the result of modernity and today"s world-have been matched and from this point of view, how and the extent of the productivity of religious intellectuals from the legacy of ancient Sufi literature present to the reader. METHODOLOGY: The search method in this research was analytical-descriptive. Based on this, by using library resources and taking notes from reliable scientific sources, the intended goals have been pursued. FINDINGS: Among the findings of this research, it is possible to mention: familiarity with the flow of religious intellectuals as well as their intellectual components-in three generations-in the contemporary era. Another thing is that the intellectual flow from the first generation that starts with Mohammad Taqi Shariati, Mehdi Bazargan and Seyyed Mahmoud Taleghani to the second and third generation namely Ali Shariati, Mohammad Mojtahedshabestari and Abdul Karim Soroush and several others, what intellectual (ideological) stages have they gone through and finally the generation How have the Soumis been able to adapt today"s intellectual components, which mainly originate from the Western world, with the thoughts and teachings of the people of the Iranian Tariqat and knowledge, and in a re-interpretation they offer to their society. CONCLUSION: What was obtained from the above research is, in short, that: the current of religious intellectuals is the continuation of the path of religiosity and idealism that was formed after the arrival of Islam in Iran. The intellectualism of the current generation began with the appearance and presence of personalities such as Seyyed Jamal Asadabadi, Mohammad Abdo and Mohammad Bagher Sadr and was continued by Mohammad Taqi Shariati, Ayatollah Taleghani, Professor Morteza Motahari, and then Ali Shariati. With the emergence of Ali Shariati, Abdul Karim Soroush, Mohammad Mojtahdshabastri, Seyed Mustafa Mohagheg Damad, Gholamhossein Ebrahimdinani, etc., this movement experienced its third generation and despite all the differences of opinion and tastes that existed among these people, they were in agreement on several things, such as: Many articles of the declaration of human rights, ideological and political tolerance, pluralism, freedom and equality of rights of individuals and minorities, gender equality of men and women in the law, etc. Of course, Motahari, Taleghani, and Ebrahimi, moderate religious people, and others such as Soroush, Mojtahdshabastri, and Malikian, who are more avant-garde, have appeared.

Abstract:

This paper argues that it is not reasonable for a critical rationalist to be a religious believer in the Abrahamic tradition. The argument is distinctive, in that it takes seriously the critical rationalist view that we should abandon ‘justificationist’ argument. What this means, is that the structure of argument then becomes a matter of offering theories as resolutions of problems, and then judging how they fare in the face of ongoing critical appraisal. The paper surveys issues in several areas, including God and what is good; homosexuality; mysticism; and messianic ideas. It argues that, unless the believer engages in intellectual retreat (something that is unacceptable for the critical rationalist), the problem-situation facing the believer appears to be so daunting that it would be unreasonable for them to hope that they can overcome it.

Abstract:

Folk poem plays an important role in representing and institutionalizing the identity, especially religious identity in Bakhtiari culture. In this research, the religious components in folk poems of Bakhtiari people (nursery, lyric, poems related to wedding and threnody) were analyzed through descriptive-analytical method to indicate the image of reflected religious components in these poems and the function of these concepts in Bakhtiari culture. Also, it has been investigated that religious components are more reflected in which one of these poems, and what kind of difference is seen in this regard. The name of God, Prophet (p. b. u. h), Imam Ali (p. b. u. h), Imam Reza (p. b. u. h), Imams posterities, Resurrection, Pilgrimage, Kaaba, Mashhad, Karbala, Prayer, Quran and prayer sign are among the most important religious components represented in these poems. The results of the study showed that nursery rhyme, first the child acquaints with the qualities of God indirectly and teaches him that in order to solve problems, he must trust in God and resort to the Prophet and Imams. In the poems related to the wedding, the religious beliefs of the bride and groom are presented and that the God and the Imams are the remedy to the disasters. The most diversity and reflection of religious components can be found in threnodies. In this type, either the religious beliefs of the decedent are talked about or ask God to solve the problems and illnesses of the deceased people.

Abstract:

Introduction: Emotional intelligence  EI is one of the important topics on which today's human beings have focused, but Islam has seen human life in different dimensions many centuries ago. Islam by providing precise solutions such as selfawareness, self-improvement and self-purification invites believers to control behaviors to attain worldly and heavenly bliss. This control of internal and external behaviors is the management of EI. The aim of this study was to investigate the EI status in religious teachings with a scientific and religious approach. Methods: The present study attempted to investigate the concept and components of EI in religious and psychological teachings by relying on authentic religious texts such as the Quran as well as authentic narrative and psychology books. Findings: The interpretation of psychology and Islam is not completely identical in explaining the EI. Psychologists have used concepts for explaining which are applied as certain terms in religious teachings. Another point is that in Islam, besides worldly works and improvement of life resulting from the EI reinforcement and behavior management, there is also a special emphasis on the Hereafter works, which itself is a reason for being comprehensive view of religion. Conclusion: A careful examination of EI in psychology and Islamic teachings has revealed that Islam manages the emotions by presenting precise solutions and considers the Hereafter works in addition to worldly works.

Abstract:

As the most complex manufactured structures, cities face excessive population growth. Their expansion has intensified on high-risk sites, and the available evidence also indicates the continuous increase of all types of natural crises in terms of intensity and frequency. Scientific and experimental findings show that the best way to deal with danger is to promote the resilience of settlements in different dimensions (social, economic-livelihood, physical-spatial and institutional); in other words, resilience in both human and environmental dimensions comprehensively. It decreases and increases. This research has evaluated and analyzed the components of resilience in Sari. The method of the present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical and field in nature. The statistical population in this research includes citizens living in the four districts of Sari, and the sample size was determined based on Cochran's formula of 383 people, who were selected from among the statistical population by stratified sampling. The questionnaire is the method of collecting library and field information and its most important tool. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics (one-sample t-test and structural equation modeling) were used by SPSS and Smart PLS software, and entropy and SAW models were exerted. The research results indicate that the situation of the four regions of Sari regarding social components has better conditions than other dimensions of resilience. In terms of institutional components, they have a vulnerable state. According to the entropy model, among the components of resilience, the institutional dimension has the most weight, and the economic dimension has the least weight. Moreover, according to the SAV model, Region 1 ranks first, and Region 3 of Sari ranks last in having the components of resilience dimensions.

Abstract:

Purpose: Managers are one of the important elements of an organization, for this reason, in order to draw the future of the organization, it is necessary for the planners to specify the conditions of their selection and appointment. Therefore, the current research has been done with the aim of identifying and analyzing the components of selecting future principals.Method: In this research, comparative and benchmarking method is used as a prospective approach. This approach is based on the belief that today's advanced organizations/countries can be considered as a model for the future of another organization/countries in their respective subjects. For this, first, the fields of comparison and benchmarking were determined using Brody's four-step comparison method; then the countries of Canada, Finland, Australia, South Africa, and Japan were selected according to the qualitative balance value in the international advanced TEAMS test, human development index, life quality index(health, instruction, and welfare), education quality index, and other scientific-scholarly indexes; finally, by extracting the criteria for the selection and appointment of principals through content analysis and comparison with Iran, the proposed framework for Iran has been presented.Findings: A total of 61 components for the selection of secondary school principals were identified from among the studies conducted in the selected countries in this article. By extracting the commonalities and differences of each of the components among the countries, it was found that the highest index of manager selection and appointment belongs to Japan and the lowest one is related to Finland. Conclusion: There are similarities between the components of selection of principals of secondary schools in Iran and selected countries. In Iran, special attention should be paid to important components such as adherence to religious principles, appropriate personality traits, creativity and innovation, motivation to develop capabilities, professional growth, power of supervision and accountability, social image, leader skills, and purposefulness and foresight.
